This strategy relies on pets with the Pump ability. Variations of the striders and fish are your best choice because they also have a heal for tight spots. The third pet just needs to have an undead ability to cleanup.

Rockbiter should die here, but you can Water Jet if he doesn't

you'll probably die around this point, but if you think you can get a Healing Wave off, work it in between these last two Pumps.

Pump, Pump (you'll probably die)
Bring in Rapena Whelk
These three ore eaters are humanoids. The Nature Ward spell cast by Rockbiter changes him into an elemental and thus he takes increased damage from your aquatic abilities. This strat allows you to essentially spam one ability. You'll want to keep an eye on your health and cast Healing Wave if you don't think you can get two turns off without risk of dying. Water Jet when two Pumps might be overkill. These pets are widely available as they are all wild pets.
