Notes:
I tried this with my Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling and with Firewing. I found that the Flock ability did more damage and that the fight ended with a Sandstorm and only one Crush. When I used Murder I had to Crush multiple times. Having to use the ability Crush more than once does give you more room for error because of the decreased hit chance. Honestly this is going to come down to using the pets that are available to you. Both pets will give him a debuff from their multi-round ability allowing your Idol to do more damage.
